Camera sporca. Presente macchina del caffe in stanza ma senza alcuna cialda e con le bustine di zucchero aperte. Capelli nel letto. Lavandino con problemi di scarico dell’acqua. Condizionatore poco funzionante. La struttura nella procedura di checkin online chiede tasse di soggiorno superiori a quelle regolarmente previste per normative comunali, con nessun tipo di trasparenza. Checkin da migliorare.

Certainly offered everything you needed to explore Salerno over a couple days. Very spacious room with a private ensuite. You are within the old town when you step out the door, and metres away from Piazza della Liberta and Santa Teresa beach, which feel very safe, it is also very close to a strip of bars that are reasonably priced. It is a very pleasant walk either through the town or along the lungomare to the newer side/ shopping centre and walkable to the ferry port as well which we did about 3 times with no difficulty. It felt very clean & modern with crisp white linen which seems obvious but more traditional Mediterranean-style properties we looked at didn't have this. Even though there are other rooms, it is very, very quiet and you wouldn't know that anyone else is in there. We are very glad we opted to be in the old town as it is quiet and you could get a great nights sleep with no noise disturbances! There was a shared kitchen outside of your private room but we didn't use this as we ate out most days, but you get a shelf for each room. I initially thought this would mean you would have to speak to other guests but there was no crossover and it felt like you had your own apartment. Overall, I would 100% recommend.

It was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Salerno. If I was clutching at straws, I would say the bath towels provided could be thicker/softer, and the Netflix didn't work when we went to log-in. However, I am hesitant to mention these as the host was incredibly responsive and I feel that had we mentioned either of these, they would've been sorted immediately.
