The location is just perfect! The room is big. The host is helpful - he tries his best. If Giordano couldn't serve breakfast, he'll give you a voucher for the snack-house a few meters away. They make amazing pistachio croissants!!! I also borrowed a kettle to make tea... he was accommodating. The toilets are outside your room, but that's OK for me. This building, like so many in Catania, is also old, and that is a plus for me. It's fun carrying so many keys and opening so many doors haha. Also, the main market is so close - a few minutes walk. Make sure you visit at least once! Truly an experience! (open 7 to 12 Mon-Sat). I bought second-hand clothes, toasted pistachios, herbs and vintage trinkets. Giordano is attentive and he replies to messages promptly. All the best to this Casa and I wish more people will have happy memories of Catania. Ciao!

No information about daily tickets for bus or trains. Giordano definitely should have this info. I suggest printing them and just posting them on the wall. Also maybe just include emergency telephone numbers, location of main market, supermarkets or groceries. It would be great also to write places of interest PLUS the bus number and bus stop - a quick guide. I'd prefer that than the free maps filled with advertisements. Print and post on the wall. This will help the lazy or the elderly guests haha. A warning to those who are extra sensitive to noise - this is the 2nd floor, and there are cars driving by until midnight or so. But this location is perfect!!!

The room was spacious and good ventilation and large windows - bright and airy

The bathroom isnt connected to the room so you have to walk through the hallway to reach it. Not an issue to me but I guess this could be for some people.

The size of the room was incredible. Bathroom was clean and everything was provided. The owner was fabulous and so helpful and caring. Always happy to advice. It was only 10 minutes walk to the centre. Bed was super comfortable too. When Internet didn't work properly the owner sorted it straight away. Amazing value for money!

There was a bit of the noise from outside, but it was expected as it is City centre. It would be great to have an access to kettle to make tea/coffee anytime, but that's just a suggestion ;)

The owner is very kind and he will receive in a warm enviroment and help you with whatever you would need

Clean facilities and the host (Giordano) was very accomodating. He maintains the property very well and was quick to let us know when we left something in the room. will definitely recommend to family and friends visiting Catania.

Perfect location, short walk distance from the Alibus bus to and from the airport, and to the historical city center. If you rent a car you can also easily find free or paid parking in the square (advice, rent a small car and prefer to add insurance coverage, you never know but nothing happened to us). Giordano, the host, is very helpful and available. Every morning we had a typical breakfast from Catania, with a fresh croissant and cappuccino, and yoghurts etc. The rooms are incredibly spacious, typical of historical Sicilian buildings, with balcony with view on the square. You can simply stay in the balcony and observe the busy life of locals. Everything was very clean and functional. I stayed at several B&Bs in Catania and this was the best.
