A Casa di Renata

4th floor with lift. Easy walking distance to shopping and smooth for anyone using a walker . The space is a lovely self-contained one bedroom apartment with big windows that let in lots of light but you can also darken the rooms by closing the shutters. The bed is very comfortable. The combined kitchen and sitting area are also very good. We really appreciated all the breakfast treats: eggs, milk, breads, honey, coffees, etc. Best of all was the exceptional hospitality!!! Renata 's nephew picked us up from the train station and asked why we came to Cosenza. We told him we stopped there just to break up a long train trip from Lecce to Syracuse. He offered to show up Cosenza. Of course, we accepted. What a treat! We learned so much about the city. For example the pedestrian walkway is lined with shopping and sculptures; the ancient part of town has a World Unesco Church with one of Italy's 3 pipe organs ( i heard it played!!) and numerous view points. And, then Renata made us a pasta lunch using tomatoes grown by herself. Absolutely one of best days of traveling out of many years of traveling. For superb comfort and exceptional hospitality, stay at Casa di Renata.

Husband says he didn't like the "apartment block" neighborhood but these are the most common form of housing we have seen in Italy. I was delighted with the location because it gave me an opportunity to see inside one of those many, many apartment blocks and it was an interesting neighborhood to walk with cafes, meat and cheese shops, etc.

Un vero B&B. Tavolo per la colazione ricco. Angolo cucina ben attrezzato. Arredato con calore. La proprietaria sempre pronta a rispondere ad ogni necessità. Si sente il cuore e lo spirito di accoglienza della signora Enza.

Non ho nulla da segnalare.

Le logement est très confortable et très propre. Literie top! Bien situé pour visiter la ville à pied. Petit déjeuner très bien, petit cake salé sucré, lait, jus de fruit, fromage, yaourt, lait, café, miel, pain, confiture, oeufs...rien ne manque. Renata est très sympathique et accueillante. Je recommande les yeux fermés!

Tudo pensado por Enza, café da manhã muito bom e tudo o que precisávamos para um dia.

A localização não é excelente, arredores feio mas internamente muito bom, e o colchão não era dos melhores, acordei com dor nas costas.
