Very good location near the beach and very good parking. There were places to sit in the garden. There was a beautiful view from the breakfast room

There was no staff who spoke English, a man from Peru took care of everything at the hotel and it was impossible to communicate with him at all. He did not understand the shortcomings we tried to communicate at all. We had seen pictures of the hotel and saw nice balconies and were not prepared to get rooms on the ground floor directly onto the gravel with no other access to the hotel than the garden and a screened roof with garbage sorting which was overcrowded. The roof terrace which is signposted with a bar was closed and only open for breakfast. The breakfast was quite mediocre i.e. no eggs and no vegetables. The breakfast was taken care of by the same "all in all man" from Peru who used the same cloth to dry hands, cutlery and table day after day. The croissants for breakfast were very nice, and they were careful to specify whether they would be natural or filled with jam or chocolate already at check-in, but we never got any natural croissants the 3 days we were there. There was no other toilet at breakfast so you had to go down to the courtyard and to your room. The room was in poor condition, both reading lamps were broken and the lock on the door was broken, we were locked out 3 times, the shower handle was broken so the shower head fell to the floor in a chorus. As I said, it was impossible to communicate with the staff and the nice owner who passed by from time to time was probably not fully aware of the shortcomings. You should be careful to secure a room at least one floor up, they are probably in better condition.

Location, off street parking and breakfast are a big plus.

We visited 2 years ago and new staff is nowhere near as good as the lady running a place back then.
