The B&B was beautiful and had a cosy cottage feel. The location was optimal, close to all the main attractions. The host was so kind and helpful. I would recommend the B&B Del Prato to any couple seeking a relaxing break in the Italian countryside.

The apartment was very comfortable. The renovations that they had made were very well done. Esp. loved the tiny balcony out of the upstairs sleeping nook. Great view. Location was wonderful with good restaurants and a locals coffee bar.

My only problem were the steps to get to the apartment. Also Parking was a bit of a hassle because of the market on the Monday. Otherwise the owners were very accomodating and really lovely.

The room we selected comprised three sleeping areas, a lounge, kitchen and roof terrace plus bathroom. The layout was cleverly done, with spiral staircases to the upper levels (numerous steps involved getting to the flat too, so not suitable for people with limited mobility). There was plenty of space for two people on our short stay. Sandra provided a delicious breakfast and a free parking permit for the nearby public car park (5 minute walk). Loading and unloading is tricky but possible if you ignore the parking restrictions, like the locals seem to! Civita old town is walkable from the B&B, taking about 30 minutes (with a drinks stop half way in bar Caffè Belvedere due to the heat). For some reason many places in Bagnoregio were closed that day. Luckily restaurants in Civita were open (pre-booking essential).

Be aware that the flat does not have a/c. As part of an old stone building, it is naturally cooled. A fan was provided, but sleeping in the flat was affected by the heat. Windows could be left open all night as Bagnoregio was relatively quiet.

I stayed at Sandra's b&b for one night to shoot a documentary project in Civita di Bagnoregio and I had an amazing time. Sabdra gave me a lot of advice and has always been very friendly since the time of the booking until I left. The breakfast has been particularly good, with a lot of choices and homemade sweets! I definitely advice this place, and I'll definitely go back to stay at the b&b Sandra has in Civita! 😘

Staying with Sandra is like being with family! She is so kind and generous. Her breakfast is homemade heaven. The best jam our daughter ever tasted and she was so touched when Sandra gave her a jar. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Parking was easy, and the location was close to Civita Bagnoregio, which is so beautiful!!
