GBThe staff are so welcoming and available if needed. Rashika was especially attentive and helpful. The situation of the villa is amazing, with direct access to surfing/beach and the grounds have chill out spots with loungers and easy chairs. Also very convenient for restaurants and cafes for lunches and suppers. Coffee and tea available all day and a Nespresso machine which we appreciated. Would definitely return.
Payment is in cash, either dollars or rupees, which we forgot so had to scramble to get the cash at the last minute. Minor quibble was no hairdryer or body lotion in the rooms, and breakfast was delicious, pastries and fruits, but no cooked or savory option.

FIPoya Villa is a very well kept, serene and beautiful property at the south-end of Kabalana beach. The villa has only 4 rooms making it a very cozy and quiet home-like haven. The villa has a big garden with a NEW pool, sun loungers and a kabbana which is THE PERFECT spot to have breakfast, watch the surfers and enjoy the sunset. There are multiple cafes/restaurants within a short walking distance/tuktuk ride so it was easy to catch lunch/dinner. The Kabalana beach itself is super clean and is suitable for beginner/intermediate surfers. The property employees Rasika & Dilmi are the most wonderful and kind people who made us feel very warmly welcome. And last but definitely not the least, the property manager Samia made us feel like Poya and Ahangama was truly our home away from home. Luck to have met you and we’ll be back. We loved everything at Poya. <3

It was raining inside the room, they didn’t made the beds or cleaned between days, the staff doesn’t understand english, there was no coffee (when they told us we had - we’ve asked before), trouble with payment due to their “always way of paying by cash” but no note nor warning when we made the reservation
