Wild View Stay

Nice and calm homestay, really worth it. The food was insane and thanks to the hosts Thishara and Menu who were very friendly and close, they helped us a lot! Milesker!

Die Besitzer waren unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend, liebevoll und gastfreundlich und waren grundsätzlich am lächeln und sehr hilfsbereit. Betten waren sehr bequem und es war sehr sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen wird vor Ort frisch zubereitet und schmeckt köstlich. Portion ist gut.

Ein Moskitonetz in den Zimmer wäre super, der Ventilator ging entweder nur auf volle Pulle oder nur sehr wenig, was doof war, wenn man die super funktionierende Klimaanlage nicht mag. Der Essbereich unten wimmelt von Mücken am Abend und machte das Genießen des leckeren Abendessen unmöglich, wir konnten nicht aufessen. Da muss etwas gemacht werden. Für Fried Rice und Rice und Curry wurde 4000RS berechnet, finde ich etwas frech, wenn man bedenkt das wir deren Gäste sind und im Ort dasselbe um die 1500RS gekostet hätte.

Si bien nos dieron cena (pago aparte), el menú siempre fue el mismo (aunque también tenemos en cuenta que pudo ser un problema de comunicación), la cama tenía un olor extraño a algún químico pero no era tan incómodo

Parfait, emplacement idéal dans la nature dans la région, juste à côté de Sigirya. Surtout la maison est très confortable, notamment le lit et toute la famille a été très attentionnée ! Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps

Like others have said, the food was fantastic! The bed was comfortable and the room sufficient. It's not a luxurious stay, of course, but there's absolutely no denying the value for money here. For the price I paid, the rating can only be top tier. I stayed six nights, as Habarana makes a great starting point for Sigiriya, Polannaruwa and safaris in nearby nature reserves. Thushara made arrangements for me to get to all three of these, and at great prices. The wifi was sketchy, but that's the norm for the whole island, I'm finding. It's fine for looking up info on the Web, but if you're dealing with high-res photos and such, you'll be waiting a while for the task to finish. If what you are after is good value, I have a hard time believing you'd find better than Wild View Stay in the area.

There's not much in the immediate area of Moragaswewa. Meaning there aren't a lot of options for walking to restaurants and whatnot. That's fine, as eating there at the property makes a lot of sense. As someone that tends to prefer more urban stays, this felt a bit far away from things. But that's part of what makes it such a good access point for all of the other activities.

Beautiful and quiet place. Amazing breakfast and the hosts helped and kind like nowhere else we stayed so far. Easy starting point to visit Sigiriya and Badulla .

Breakfast was amazing. You get to try local home made food. And the surroundings are very nice.

Nagyon tiszta volt, rendes. Tágas ágy :) csendes nyugodt környezet. Kifejezetten ízletes volt a vacsora, mind 3 éjszaka ott ettem. Rendkívül segítőkészek voltak minden tekintetben. Amikor megérkeztem, említettem hogy még a ruháimat el kell vinnem valahova mosodába, és Thushara azt mondta megoldja, bízzam rá. Mielőtt távoztam mondtam, másnap megyek Kalpitiya-ba elég messze, bár nincs sofőröm. Azt mondta intéz nekem, és valóban másnap ott volt a sofőr pickme ár alatt. Nagyon hálás vagyok nekik, köszönök mindet. Csak ajánlani tudom ezt a nagyszerű megbízható Sri Lankai otthont :)

Az elején probléma volt a víznyomással, de hamar orvosolták a helyzetet és megoldódott minden.
