Vogel Nest was great value for money, and tucked away down a quiet street off Midigama junction, but still very central! A few minutes walk from Cafe Pleasure (cheap and good food), the train station and the beach. Friendly staff, got a cheaper scooter through them, and an all round comfortable ACd rooms 👌🏻

The hosts let us keep things in the fridge which was great, but it would have been nice if a fridge and kettle were accessible without having to go into their personal quarters where they live and sleep. I felt bad for disturbing them by always walking in and out, and at night their door is closed and thus the kitchen is not accessible. Just a suggestion 😊

Very nice stay given the price. Owners are friendly and helpful, the rooms are not very fancy but ok given the price. Location is good, since it's close to the beach but still away from the main road.

The breakfast was very good! Choice between western and sri lankan, both delicious. The quietness of the place is what really stood out for me. Very peaceful and welcoming. I felt like I was part of he family

I stayed at Vogel nest for 3 days with my sister and we loved it! The hosts were kind and helpful. We had the breakfast in the morning which was different every day and delicious! The rooms are spacious and very clean. It’s in a nice quiet area. Felt very peaceful - only 10 minutes from Weligama and a few minute walk to the beach!

The accommodation was amazing. I booked 2 nights and stayed 5. it is so quiet, you can’t here the street or the train which is really rare for Midigama. Such a short walk to the beach. I love the area. The room was clean and I felt very comfortable, also enjoyed the AC very much. Would definitely come back!
