Lovely hosts, you tell what you need, they fix it or at least advise you honestly. For extra services like lunch or tuk tuk or beer, they charge the fair price. If you have a question, or worry, feel free to let them know. We were traveling with 2 children : 2yr and 4yr old and we felt super taken care of 🤗 beach is just behind the property, place is quiet. Thank you for having us ☀️

Breakfast was very good and we had to insist on less food, since we had lots left over each time. Hemali kept giving us different things to try and we eventually had dinner (fried fish and prawn curry & dhal) on our last night there. Janaka took us to different local restaurants and to Aluthgama (tuk tuk) while we were there - very helpful Will return here soon ...

There were not many restaurants open because it was "off season" which meant having to use the tuk tuk to get around to other areas. The ocean/sea was very rough so swimming was not advisable ...

I travel to Sri Lanka very often because it is my favourite destination, and this is my first visit to Villa Sidu. For me without doubt one of the best places that I have ever stayed in Sri Lanka. In Villa Sidu you are guaranteed the best Sri Lankan hospitality. It is owned and run by Himali, her husband Janaka, and also supported by daughter and son. It is a family orientated place to relax and enjoy. This family go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoy. Always willing to help and guide you to enjoy the surroundings. This accommodation is in Induruwa, and it is a peaceful village between the busy tourist hotspots Bentota and Hikkaduwa. Beautiful spacious, clean rooms with a balcony if you are on a top floor. There are AC rooms and well as non AC. Breakfast is also included, it is one of the finest breakfast to enjoy. If you like why not speak to Himali or Janaka and enjoy Sri Lanka’s tasty rice and curry. Don’t take my word, just try it. If you are looking for the Indian Ocean, look not far, it is just meters away from Villa Sidu. We like Villa Sidu so much, after an exhausting tour round Sri Lanka, we came back to Villa Sidu to enjoy and relax. We take this opportunity to thank Himali, Janaka and family for making our holiday comfortable than we expected. In our opinion Villa Sidu is a hidden Gem in Sri Lanka. Villa Sidu is not expensive at all.

Everything! The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. It also has beach access to a beautiful quiet beach and includes a huge breakfast every morning!

What’s not to like about it? The location is perfect: between the insanity of Hikaduwa and the crowds in Bentota. It’s a minute from the beach and yet we could barely hear the thumping bass from the NY party at See View next door, Himali is a wonderful host, always smiling, welcoming and accommodating of every request. She made delicious meals and made sure we never lacked anything. The rooms were clean and tidy. The hosts are also happy to tuk-tuk us to town or anywhere else for reasonable rates.
