"Pleasant stay"

B&B was traditional, very homely and comfortable. The ensuite was small but well formed. The shower was good. Rooms were very clean, neat and tidy. We had the Queen room which was a nice size. The breakfast was hit the spot. Cereal, fruit, toast and home made jam. Plenty of coffee and tea. Ladies working there were very nice and friendly. Our ferry back to North Island was late but we were able to keep the car in their car park after we checked out until needed.

Owners are friendly, knowledgeable and available. Location is great. Fruit compotes for breakfast were delicious. Coffee is good and strong.

WiFi was a problem except in the lounge and dining room (owner explained why and has done what she can to remediate it). I would have appreciated more protein at breakfast - maybe hard boiled eggs?
