Congratulations to where we had to go during the day.

No curtain on the door window.

Friendly hosts. Very comfortable. Lovely hot shower.

Would have been nice to have curtains or blinds for privacy particularly in the bathroom. Needed plates, bowls and cutlery so we could bring our own food.

The chalet is very clean, the bed is lovely and comfy and the chalet garden area is very pretty.

I think the publicity info could spell out that there is no wifi, no tv and no cooking facilities in the chalet. I only read the main blurb about the accommodation and saw the photos and assumed I was getting all those things - and perhaps even breakfast. Wrong! My fault for not noticing there are 2 separate accommodation options but it could definitely be made clearer what the chalet does not have. Also the glass chalet door, opposite the bed, and the 2 large bathroom/toilet windows have no coverings at all so you have to trust that noone is looking in when you undress, sleep or use the bathroom! The bathroom does have a screen on the outside, about 3 feet away, but it still felt a bit odd using the toilet and shower right in front of big glass windows, especially at night time when you can't see what is outside.

The accommodation's location was excellent, being close to Cambridge Town Centre and Lake Karapiro. The unit was clean, quiet, and dog-friendly, with comfortable beds ensuring a restful stay. My partner especially appreciated the pristine natural running water!

There was some confusion with the Booking.com photos, which led us to check into the wrong unit upon arrival. It turned out we were supposed to receive an email with instructions on finding the correct unit, but we never did. However, the issue was resolved in the end, and we had an enjoyable stay.
