Tempest on Wanaka

Lin and Chris were wonderful hosts. Beautiful neigbourhood and property. The room was very spacious and lovely decorated. Delicious homemade breakfast.

Friendly spacious guesthouse with convenient location close to centre of town. Breakfast was a joy with many freshly made or home grown included. Great place to stay.

Only, too short our stay

객실이 아늑하고 침구류도 깨끗, 욕실도 깨끗해서 좋았어요. 전체적으로 호스트의 깔끔함이 느껴졌어요. 친절하게 대해주시고 이야기하시는 것을 좋아하시는 분 같았어요. 숙소 주변은 매우 조용하고 깨끗해요. 와나카 호수까지 걸어다니기에도 무리가 없어요. 큰 나무가 우거진 깨끗한 길을 걸으면서 아침 산책하기에도 좋았어요.

아쉬운 점이 굳이 있다면, 아무래도 가정집 숙소라서 그런지 편안하면서도 뭔가 살짝 불편함이 있어요. 예를 들면 계단 올라갈 때 1층에 계시는 호스트에게 신경쓰이게 하고 싶지 않아서 나무 소리가 안나게 살살 걷게 되는 것 같은 것 같은거요.

Very good stay. I even got wrong date at the very beginning. Hosts super kind and helpful. Nice room. Very delicious breakfast too. Convenient but very quiet location.

Friendly and helpful owners, lovely property in good location. Comfortable bed and good night’s sleep. Really nice home grown and home made breakfast ingredients. Very much a home from home.

Friendly hosts. Big room and comfy beds

Fantastic location, generous room, incredibly clean and tidy with everything you could possibly want. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating but also gave you your space and privacy. Room was huge, bed was comfortable, bathroom was generous and everything was incredibly clean and tidy. The property is a 5 minute walk from the lakefront but felt totally private and quiet, tucked away one street back from the main road (which itself is still pretty quiet).
