"Butch and his wife are salt of the earth. Trustees of a kinder, slower more human way of life."

We liked everything. Butch was more than generous with his time. The cats make it feel like home and the library in town is top notch. The river quay is a calming walk and the pier is lined with history.

The location was handy, just a short drive to town, it was quiet, rooms were clean and had everything you need, and the grounds were very nice. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were friendly and very kind!

We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The room and bathroom were spotless, and everything was beautifully maintained. Breakfast was simply amazing, eggs prepared in several different ways, muesli, toast, and so much more; nothing was lacking. The plums were absolutely outstanding. Butch and Sharyn were perfect hosts. Friendly and very approachable. Lovely spacious rooms and lounge area too. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Good chance to swap stories round the table with hosts and fellow guests.

Nothing to dislike.
