Wairimu View Lodge

Beautiful view, exceptionally clean and comfortable. It had everything! I would absolutely come back.

What a beautiful sanctuary for R&R. Peta & Rich were very friendly and accommodating. We got there later than expected and they made our check in simple and the lodge warm and cosy. We loved our big breakfast and the fridge was stocked up with a plethora of yummy drinks and treats. The room was immaculate and the bathroom /big bath tub was glorious especially with thoughtful touches of bathbombs and other amenities. Couldn't have asked for a better host 👌

Location was superb with native bush, views of cows in the fields and the ocean! It was so quiet and peaceful but just about 8 minutes to Waipu township.

Every detail had been considered and the only minor negative was that the newish looking air fryer had probably been broken by the previous occupants. To remedy this the owner heated our breakfast croissants in her air fryer which was appreciated.

What didn’t we like! The property was beautifully decorated, the view in itself was unbelievable, but the interior is so well designed with so many great touches. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, they had stocked the room with everything we needed and of the best quality. We were lucky enough to meet their dog too. The pictures do not do this place justice.

Peta and Ricard's accomodation is set in a rural area and have fabulous ocean views. A lovely spot to seat outside in the morning and evening. So lovely to hear the birds in the morning. Just 5 mins drive from Waipu town. The accomodation is modern and with beautiful amenities. We were very spoilt with the breakfast and top it off, croissants with ham and cheese provided. The Air Fryer is sure a very simple way to prepare the croissants. Peta and Richard (and Molly) are very welcoming and we highly recommend staying in this beautiful place. Thanks Peta and Richard for your hospitality.

Peta and Richard went above and beyond. If there was a higher rating, this property would definitely qualify. Wairimu Lodge was used to host the bridal party for my daughter-in-law. The service they provided was outstanding. They allowed us to take wedding photos, park the wedding cars in their driveway, hairdresser, makeup artist, photographer and nothing was a problem. They both went that extra mile to make the day special. We highly recommend Wairimu Lodge as your number one accommodation venue in Waipu. Whether it be for a luxury get-a-away weekend or attending a special event. You must, must must, consider this property.

Absolutely nothing

I would rate this 7 stars if I could! Peta and Rich have created an exceptional BnB with stunning views to boot! The huge king bed with luxuriously soft sheets were a dream to sleep in. The bathroom with the sumptuously large bath and the walk in shower with both hand held and rain shower was out of this world. Then there was the view to trees from the bath and perfectly private. The little kitchen had everything including a thoughtful air fryer ro toast the complimentary ham and cheese croissants in the morning. This was part of the complimentary breakfast supplies which included everything. The AC topped it off for us and the TV with access to local channels. I cannot rate this place highly enough. And it was spotless!
