Wairimu View Lodge

The property is beautifully presented with all modern amenities. It’s obvious that great care has been taken to provide a unit of a high standard. The view from the deck is stunning with the ocean and its island clearly visible in the distance. The breakfast is more than adequate and conveniently provided in the suite. The grounds are well laid out and are being developed further - a particular specialty of the owners. The location suited us perfectly being just out of Waipu but on the edge of the bush with great views. Had a lovely stay, many thanks PETA and Rich.

In a word: excellent ! What a wonderful place to stay and the room is more than great ! Of all.conveniences. provided. Great bed and a super bathroom. And what a view! It has more than exceeded our expectations.

Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. We particularly enjoyed the homemade granola and muesli and the fresh fruit.

What a lovely place to stay - one wouldn't expect that level of service in a rural place like Waipu, but it's actually comparable to a high-end hotel. Everything is super clean and well-thought-of, the facilities are brand new, and the bathroom (including a bathtub in it) is incredible. And breakfast too! A separate compliment goes to a person who looks after the houseplants, they look great. It's also conveniently located within just a short drive from Waipu township with all the shops and restaurants and the beach of Waipu Cove. At the same time the room is by the native bush with Tuis singing there in the morning. It was a couple of rainy nights, which added to the experience - imagine floating weightlessly in scented comfortably warm water with candle reflections flickering in a panoramic window while the sound of rain whispering in a native bush lulls you into a transcended slumber. Amazing!

The single thing we didn't like is that we only had a couple of nights there, you need at least a week!

Fantastic homemade cereals and croissants, juice, and hot drinks , all with a great little kitchenette. Beautiful quiet rural location - not far from the beach. Very clean and lovely presentation.

Beautiful location with fabulous views. So quiet and peaceful - very restorative. Fantastic breakfast - fresh fruit and a selection of high quality cereal followed by croissant. Everything you need to self cater if you want to. Comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom with simple asking tub.

Clean, super comfortable, quality finishes, beautiful view, beautiful bath looking out to the bush, quiet, relaxing. Some of the best accommodation I've ever stayed in! Highly recommend!
