The breakfast was terrific and generous, with really good options to cater for different tastes. A really nice continental selection plus fruit and eggs. Our host was very friendly and made sure were looked after. Comfortable beds. They pre-heated the room so it was warm and comfortable for our arrival. We were supporting a group staying at a scout lodge 2 minutes away so the location was excellent. It's also close to Ohakune, National Park, and Whakapapa ski fields. It's off the main road, so it was very peaceful. I would highly recommend this to other travellers.

Took us a minute to figure out we needed to turn on the outside gas bottle to use the stove. This is not really a dislike - it's very minor and wasn't a problem.

"Beautiful!"

This apartment has been designed with love and is beautiful! It is very obviously cared for, maintained and so well appointed! It is spotlessly clean! The wifi was excellent and the food and treats left really are a treat! The bed was comfy and it was a joy to stay there! The communication with the host was excellent and we were able to just let ourselves in. It is in a very quiet area but only about a 15 minute drive into Ohakune. I will definitely book here again for a break when travelling up the North Island.

We didn't seem to get cell phone coverage - could have been an issue with our phone, or maybe because the area is so countrified. The only other thing I would say - and I am being very, very picky here, is that having Netflix or something available on the tv would have been nice - as the basic NZ tv channels are not always the best! I guess many people would have their own devices and would stream using the wifi anyway. Certainly not a dealbreaker!

"Easy, comfy, better than expected"

Ease of getting in and out. Heater was on! All the snacks/breakfast provided was excellent. I would come back with my wife if possible and enjoy the place more, but I was only there for work. Breakfast included meant I could leave early. I will make this spot my regular from now on

Well the booking was funny. It said 105 for the room, then went to check out and it charged 175. Thats a fine price but I was confused over the inconsistency at check out
