"Little slice of heaven"

A lovely unit in the country. Well equipped, good quality fit out. Friendly, accommodating hosts. Pity it was raining so we didn't get the mountain view or need the BBQ. Great breakfast.

"Great location for cyclists and walkers, comfortable and quiet."

Gables is next to the Mountain to Sea cycleway which you can also use to walk to the start or cycle to Old Coach Road which will take you all the way to Ohakune. The unit is very new clean and spacious. Wonderful continental breakfast with fruit and snacks which were very nice.

A little more cutlery and plates, eg 4 teaspoons instead of 2, although the room is only for 2 people. Shower tended to send water all over bathroom floor. A squeegee to mop.up would be great.

"Lovely cosy stay"

Lovely and welcoming warm room, very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and included a heated blanket if desired. Breakfast offering was lovely, especially the granola.
