Qumir Packers

Ich war in meinem Leben wirklich schon in vielen Hostels, aber in keinem Hostel habe ich mich jemals so wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt wie in diesem! Alle, sowohl Besitzer als auch Angestellte, sind immer freundlich, humorvoll und stehen einem grundsätzlich super aufmerksam mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Ob du Aktivitäten in der Umgebung suchst oder ein Problem hast - hier wird dir geholfen. Die Atmosphäre ist nahezu familiär und man darf an allem teilhaben, an dem man teilhaben möchte. Ob es gemeinsames Klettern, Essen, Ausgehen oder einfach Entspannen ist. Auf diese Art und Weise lassen sich Huaraz und die wunderschöne Natur der Gegend perfekt erkunden. Und dann gibt es auch noch 3 super liebe Hunde und eine verschmuste Katze. Eine Woche Aufenthalt war geplant, geblieben bin ich zwei.

Humberto, the host, is really lovely and kind. He’s got lots of advice to give about what walks to do and is also very relaxed and easy to talk to. The house has a few volunteers living there too who have been there longer term so it feels more like you’re staying at a house of friends than in a hostel. They also have 3 very cute dogs!

I loved my stay at Qumir Packers. It felt more like a co-living than a hostel, it's cozy and informal. The owner is so nice and easy-going, I felt completely at ease.

O hostel é muito aconchegante, tem cara de casa. Umberto é muito gentil e preocupado com o seu bem-estar. Para completar tem dois cachorros e uma gatinha! Fiz amizades aqui pra vida, de nove dias, estendi a estadia e fiquei 21 ☺️.

Amazing place that feels like home! If you‘re looking for a comfortable stay in Huaraz, I can highly recommend Qumir Packers. It is very central, close to shops and restaurants and the host Humberto is very helpful if you need advice on hiking trips etc. Bonus points for the cute hostel doggos :))

Me gusta lo cómodo de la cama y del cuarto, están bien arreglado

La ubicación es excelente, hay cerca un lavadero, supermercado, una plaza y una avenida donde encuentras lugares para comer. La plaza principal está cerca, en 10 min llegas. No pase frío en la habitación compartida. Tiene cajoneras que podes usar y cerrarlas con un candado (llevar uno) El host tiene buena predisposición, me permitió ingresar antes del horario de check-in y me dio sugerencias de que hacer el primer día. Es un espacio donde hay muchos montañistas, así que seguro terminas con ganas de querer ir a una montaña y acampar.

The location is perfect and the environment is also really nice. The beds are super comfy and the other instalations as well. Highly reccommend this place :)
