Pine Tree Cove - your holiday retreat

"At first, I thought it was crazy, but I fell in love with the place after seeing the pictures on Booking. I said to myself, 'I want to go there.' So, that's what I did. I chose Colle dell'Ara as my romantic spot to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary. I reached out to Marco for advice on exploring the Amalfi Coast, and his suggestions were spot on. Marco and Paisa are fantastic hosts. Marco went above and beyond to help us, especially with our arrival. He picked us up at Chiesa Nuova and drove us home. What really amazed me was when Marco carried my backpack and two 13-kilo carry-on bags all by himself - I couldn't believe his strength! We enjoyed three delicious breakfasts and even better conversations. He told me I resembled Pope Francis! Marco welcomed my wife and me in an unforgettable way. He mentioned having an Argentine friend, and I jokingly said he now has two. Thanks, Marco, for an incredible experience!"

Nous avons adorer l’hôtel et le personnels, une gentillesse incroyable une très belle vue et les deux chiens sont hyper bien éduqués on les as adorés, l’hôtel était très propre et confortable merci 🙏🏼

Its a unique experience, living up the mountain, in a family house which was converted to hotel. We will be coming here next time as well!

A special experience! Marco and Paisia are the best hosts! Able to answer all our questions and their hospitality is unmatched. The true Positano experience. Absolutely arrange dinner at the property and the included breakfast was great. Room was clean and their 2 dogs were a treat!

Distance from the center. It is a 25 minute bus ride from the center and is very easy to figure out. 400 steps to the property as well.

Marco und Pairisa sind so freundliche und hilfsbereite, liebe Menschen, es war immer wieder ein Vergnügen, nach einem Ausflug oder Strandtag in das B & B zu kommen.

Die Aussicht ist der Wahnsinn! :) Die Zimmer sauber und richtig schön authentisch eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin kocht manchmal abends selbst für die Gäste, die Zutaten kommen aus dem eigenen Garten. Das Essen ist unfassbar lecker!!! Das beste italienische Essen, was ich je gegessen habe!!! :) Das Frühstück ist super! Wird individuell und frisch zubereitet. Die Gastgeber Familie ist toll und super herzlich, man wird von beiden Hunden direkt begrüßt! :) Die perfekte Unterkunft wenn man dem Stadttrubel unten in Positano aus dem Weg gehen will und wundervolle und ruhige Abende genießen möchte. Mit dem Linienbus kommt man problemlos nach Positano runter. Eine einzigartige, wundervolle Atmosphäre hier oben! Wer etwas besonderes, authentisches sucht, ist hier richtig!!! Sehr zu empfehlen!!! :)

Die 398 Stufen muss man hoch - das bekommt man aber locker hin und ist die Aussicht wert. :) (Gepäck wird hoch gebracht). Wer mit dem Auto kommt: Die Straßen sind sehr eng und „wild“ zu befahren, ebenso das Parken am Straßenrand ist nicht ganz so einfach! ;)

The customer service was outstanding – the owners couldn’t do enough to help and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everything was spotless, and the facilities were excellent, with everything we needed.

The views from the property are absolutely stunning. It’s worth noting, however, that there are quite a few steps to reach the accommodation. This is very common in Positano and part of the charm of the town, but something to keep in mind (you will get this with any accomodation in Positano)! Overall, the scenery more than make up for it!

Absolutely the best place in Positano! From the very first moment we arrived, it felt like home — cozy, authentic, and full of warmth. Marco and Paisia create a truly special atmosphere, and their two adorable huskies make it even more unforgettable. Yes, the hotel is on the hillside, but the steps are easy and the views along the way are magical. Breakfasts are generous and delicious, rooms are spacious and comfortable. We stayed in three hotels during our trip, and this one was simply the best. I can’t wait to come back!
