Pine Tree Cove - your holiday retreat

Marco, his partner & two husky dogs were so accommodating, they made us feel so at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast they made for us in the morning was really good. I’d recommend staying in this home stay if you’d like an authentic experience with genuine lovely people.

The stairs and location was pretty tough but I suppose the views made it worth it.

Lots of stairs to get to the property but they were totally worth it

Die Gastgeber waren total freundlich und das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen selbstgemacht. Das war wirklich himmlisch. Die Aussicht ist natürlich auch ein totaler Blickfang. Man muss eben nur bedenken, dass man 400 Stufen zur Unterkunft erklimmen muss :) Aber war für uns nun kein Problem. :-)

Service and view was fantastic. A true bed and breakfast and a good rate. Hosts very accommodating and helpful. Great breakfast.

The stairs really limited you from wanting to make over 1 trip per day which is frustrating, especially 20 minutes from downtown.

When we first read the description about Colle Dell'Ara it felt like a magical place. And even with the warnings concerning the 400 steps we knew we had to go. It was such a good experience. Marco and Paisia are great host and very kind persons. I wish them the best. The 2 dogs Arya and Horus are adorable. The view are amazing and it is worth every step. Paisia is also a very good cook. But if youre not in a good physical condition the steps are not for you. We would go back again for sure.

Although the property was beautiful, the distance from everything made it expensive and impractical.

Firstly, the 400 steps to the hotel are no joke. They help you with the luggage, thankfully. However once you're up to the hotel, its stunning. I wish we had a more relaxed stay so we didn't have to rush up and down the steps. Truly beautiful views and lovely room. I do recommend it. Absolutely amazing location. Great breakfast. Staff. Very cost effective for the area, and you can get a bus and see positano.

They need to invest in bannisters for the stairs to make them easier to walk up and down.

Stunning views from terrace & room. Excellent breakfasts. Friendly, helpful owners. Hourly bus to Positano centre.

It was good. The 398 step walk up is quite hard going when it’s hot.
