Pine Tree Cove - your holiday retreat

The hosts and their dogs were absolutely amazing. We loved the wonderful breakfasts we were presented with each morning and of course the incredible views. Be prepared to take a few steps up the hill. But it’s worth it!

Beautiful view, amazing breakfast and food, homey feel, and the owners are lovely. This was an excellent spot to enjoy our honeymoon.

It’s a bit of a hike from the main part of town but it’s very quiet up there.

Our hosts were warm and welcoming and always went out of their way to make us comfortable. We can't thank them enough for sharing their beautiful home with us. Our breakfast was outstanding every day and were met with wine in the evenings upon our return to the Villa. Their View is nothing short of spectacular. If you want an authentic experience, this is it! Not to mention, their dogs are just the sweetest!!!

We really didn't mind the stairs and we knew upfront that there were allot to climb to get from the road to the Villa. Once again, the views, the property and the hosts were well worth the climb!

Our stay at Colle dell’Ara absolutely exceeded expectations. The hosts Paisia and Marco are lovely and very accomodating. Everything about the room was perfect. The view is spectacular, easily one of the best views in Positano. They have a lift for your bags so you do not have to carry them up the 398 steps. Trust me though, the stairs are worth it for the view! The breakfast included was delicious, fresh omelette every morning with Crossaints, donuts and many other things!! The place is situated very close to a bus stop and that bus takes you into the centre of Positano. Their two dogs Arya and Horus both very cute too, two huskies is a bonus to your stay :). Thank you Colle dell’Ara we would absolutely stay here again.

The place was lovely and had gorgeous views, the room was spacious with a big washroom and a lovely little balcony. The patio was perfect to relax in the evening. The owners and staff were beyond hospitable, and we loved the dogs. The breakfasts were out of this world delicious and there was so much food! The winch to bring up and down your luggage was very welcome.

The location, while beautiful, was quite challenging to get to, the infrequent (1/hour) buses would regularly drive past as they were always full. Impssible to hail a cab. If you choose to walk all the way down to the town, bring water, its a long way with very little shade. The stairs (398!) from the street to the accommodation were really daunting, enough that you would think twice about making the journey more than once or twice a day max. The ad stated laundry facilities but there were none available. The bedroom didn't have the greatest internet connection and there was no television, if that sort of thing bothers you.

Marco and Paisia have a lovely property and were incredible hosts to us! Marco is responsive, attentive and accommodating. They were both easy to reach during our stay and provided us with some great recommendations. The B&B is comfortable, clean and has some of the best views of Positano. Highly recommend them and would stay again!

Our stay in Positano was amazing because of this Hotel and their owners. The view is just beautiful and you can escape the crowded town. Marco and his fiancé did anything to make our stay wonderful. The dinner at Colle dell‘Ara was the best italian food! They also gave us good recommendations for restaurants and nice places. Yes there are many steps but every step is worth the stay at Colle dell‘Ara! Thank you so much for everything Paisia and Marco!

Everything. We slept so well, bed was comfy, it was dark and quiet and the air con was powerful. The views were amazing. Marco, Paisia and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We felt like family.
