Villa Briganti

The property feels like a secret gem of Positano. This mother-daughter duo truly think of everything you could possibly need and it shows. The bed is comfortable, the shower is expansive, the living area is great and all of it was very clean. The room directly opens up onto a beautiful terrace that overlooks all of Positano where breakfast is served daily weather permitting. On the day we left, it was pouring rain and these wonderful ladies were kind enough to help organize us a taxi to our next location due to the ferries being canceled out of the Positano port. The hospitality is truly unmatched and if I ever return to I will for sure be staying here. They truly made our trip Positano special!!

The hosts were amazing, went above and beyond, and made us feel extremely welcome. The provided and extra meals were amazing. In addition extremely helpful with booking and organizing transportation. Unfortunately the weather did not work out the way we hoped but we will come back in the future just for the hosts and location alone.

the perfect authentic stay in Positano. Federica and Rosetta were so welcoming and helpful, even calling Naples airport and Italy Airways to chase down our missing luggage. The views from the terrace were simply incredible and unwinding with the view, Rosetta’s cooking and a bottle of wine is an experience we’ll never forget.

The personal touch from the owners was amazing. They were so attentive to all of our needs from making breakfast for us every morning to arranging transportation as well as giving us recommendations for places to go. We cannot forget how incredible the views were from the terrace.

the terrace was beautiful and Federika and her mother were great hosts. they helped organize transfer, offered a great homemade breakfast every morning and the room was great, good AC lots of options for wine and an included mini fridge with snacks and drinks.

it’s a lot of steps! but this is always the case in Positano. anyone unable to travel or move well should be aware that Positano isn’t very accessible.

Look no further for an amazing authentic Positano experience with a gorgeous terrace overlooking Positano. Federica and her mother were incredibly kind, sweet, and hospitable. If you want to stay with a local family, have a spacious comfortable room, get away from the noise of Positano, and don't mind some stairs this is the place for you! The climb to their wonderful home is worth it as the views are incredible and you are away from all the noise. Porter service takes care of your heavy luggage and worked beautifully (they helped arrange pick-up from the road and also drop off of our luggage at the port where we left to Capri). Federica and her mother are amazing cooks and we took advantage of a delicious breakfast on the deck (the best breakfast we had while in Italy). The cappuccinos were to die for (also our favorite in Italy). Furthermore, if you like to swim their home is located above Spiaggia Fornillo (the quieter and nicer beach compared to busy Spiaggia Grande). It is a steep climb up from the beach but if you are fit and like exercise it is a dream place to stay. I went for several swims in the morning before the crowds. The terrace in the morning before the heat and in the evening (lit up with lights) is absolutely magical. I definitely plan to stay here again someday!

Absolutely stunning vantage point with picturesque views from the balcony. The hosts were wonderfully pleasant and we took advantage of having dinner at the residence one night, which was fabulous. Room was comfortable and accommodating. Great bathroom. Fresh, cold water refilled as often as we needed as well. Homemade croissants were delicious but for the price of the room, the breakfast could have been more substantial.
