Fair Acres Boutique Hotel Karen

Loved this hotel. The grounds and the landscaping on the property is beautiful! I absolutely adored each member of the staff. They made us feel like family and took care to learn our names and ensure we were okay throughout the entire stay. We didn't get to have breakfast everyday but the day we did, it was good. I would love to re-visit this property on another trip to Kenya!

The breakfast was supposed to be out at 6:30 but it was often late.

The staff was very friendly & nice. The food at the restaurant was very good.

The bathroom was very small. The shower leaked into the floor.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms and we loved the back patio/lounge/restaurant area. We had a relaxing stay and appreciated the quiet and calm space, felt like a little oasis to retreat to in the middle of busy and fun travel days. Food was fantastic - the fish curry and veggie curry, omg so good! Welcoming and friendly staff throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

It was hard to reach anyone by email/text in the weeks before arriving. Everything turned out ok, but this is an area that could make things even smoother!

A nice, safe location in Karen and very green and leafy. Easy to get around to main sites this side of Nairobi with Uber. Good sized rooms with space for luggage and comfortable for a few nights sleep. Nice garden for breakfast and bar/restaurant area for meals in house if required.

I organised an airport transfer with the hotel and they did not show up. A taxi driver at the airport called the hotel for us and claimed they had nothing organised, despite the fact I have a message confirming so (through booking.com messaging interface) - don't bother, as a transfer or Uber is less than the $50 USD the hotel is charging anyway. Bathroom was a bit dismal - signs of mould and needed a good scrub, poor lighting and an awkward door that would not stay open, toilet roll holder literally on the ground.
