Large spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed, large bathroom, hot shower, and a well equipped room. Breakfast was delicious and very generous and served on our balcony. We were surprised at how high up we were with our room having beautiful views. A short walk through some quaint little back streets, and you're right in the middle of town. Lovely, friendly host. Highly recommend.

Good birdwatching in the area. Nice rooms with plenty of space and a balcony with a good view. Friendly family hosting.

While the location is away from the center of town, there's still quite a bit of noise with Buddhist chants on loudspeakers coming right at you, and you can still hear the main road below.

Great location just a short walk from town. Breakfast delivered to your balcony was a great experience. Super friendly staff.

Note: If you're a light sleeper there did seem to be some noise around 5.30am, I think from a religious meeting?

The hotel is bright, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Our room had a spacious and cozy balcony, which was a wonderful addition to our stay. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and left us looking forward to each morning. The hostess was exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The room was great, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The balcony area where you have breakfast is delicious and the breakfast was fantastic. The owners were lovely and very helpful giving recommendations for the Ella Rock hike, and ordering tuk tuks and transfers whenever needed and they even made us breakfast for a very early start on our last day. Overall amazing value for money.

Lovely host, very welcoming. The amazing Sri Lankan breakfast was served on the great terrace at our requested time. The host also packed us a breakfast to take with us when we left early for Ella rock which was very kind. Room was very clean, bathroom was great, had everything you need. Just to note air conditioning is only a fan but otherwise this is a superb property and great value for money.

Simple but spotlessly clean & comfortable room with a large terrace. The owners are very sweet and serve your breakfast on your private terrace. It's a very quiet location a 5 minute walk to the main street, which is great because Ella town centre is lively at night.

The only drawback is if like me you packed way more clothes than you need, you need a tuk tuk for your luggage. I wouldn't recommend this property for people with mobility issues as the property has lots of steps. For everyone else I 100% recommend staying here.
