Duet Hearts

The owner's father was very nice and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The pictures on booking don't reflect the reality. Our biggest problem is that on top of the terrace doors are windows without glass and we could hear all the sounds from exterior, expecially dogs barking all night long, and from 5 am prayers from the near stupa. 🤯 The rooms are not very clean as we found spiderwebs. The refrigerator was not clean and smelled very bad. There is mold on baths walls and even I saw more comments with this problem , they didn't fix it. The road to the accomodation is very narrow and it can not be reached by car. You have to transfer your luggages in a tuk tuk and pay for the trip on both ways, because the transfer is not suported by the host.

Duet Hearts is a wonderful place with amazing views and really friendly owners who are super helpful. The beds are comfy, and breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend staying here for a great time in Ella!

Fantastic location. Extraordinary atmosphere. Close walking distance to the center, but totally quiet. Sitting on the terrace with the jungle view, looking at the small monkeys in the trees around. Very good follow up information from the owner, and totally nice and helpful hosts.

There are just two rooms in a quite silent place arounded with trees. Skylights the evening just at terrace, nice, traditional brackfast and the sound af the waterfall in a distance make a calming mood. Circa 300m from roads to the center.

The rooms are large and comfortable, with and look out over a pretty valley, and are just a short walk from the town. Difficult to drive there though, unless in a very small car or tuk-tuk. The family are kind and welcoming, and made us generous breakfasts.

The WiFi works much better in one of the rooms than the other. Also there was a bit of chanting from the nearby living temple early in the morning, so worth having earplugs handy. This would affect all the guesthouses around the region and shouldn't put you off as it's just part of being in such a lovely location.

Everything was great. The breakfast really good but the staff was incredibly helpful and serviceminded. They helped me with extra services and late check out without charging anything. I highly recommend this family owned guesthouse. They provide the best service you can get
