Dar Assarou - Toubkal National Park Lodge

Well-served breakfast by a dedicated and high-quality staff, with a team that remains attentive to the specific needs of each client. We spent our stay in a very peaceful place, surrounded by wonderful people, breathtaking nature, and a friendly team. I’ll definitely visit again soon.

Breakfast was good.

The manager. He is rude. I have never felt so unsafe before and I am an avid traveller. Also the photos and amenities promised are not what you get. DO NOT STAY HERE.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour dans cet établissement. Le personnel était très disponible, toujours souriant et prêt à aider. L’emplacement est également un vrai atout : central, pratique, et proche de toutes les commodités.

Pas de climatisation

The location was great for us to reach the restaurants and shops. Also, it was situated right at the start of our trek to Mount Toubkal. After our trek, we were so glad to be able to use the pool. Hassan, the manager, and the staff were fabulous and couldn't do enough for you . They served us tea and cake on arrival, which was really appreciated. Don't hesitate to book. You won't be disappointed .

It would be great to have air conditioning. However, it was no problem, as we just kept our window open to let cool air in

Een prachtig verblijf in Imlil. Netjes, schoon met mooie uitzichten in een prachtige omgeving. Mooi zwembad, heerlijk na een dag hiken. Ontbijtbuffet was goed geregeld. Vriendelijke mensen, smaakvol lokaal eten. Na alle indrukken van Marrakech was de rust een groot en welkom contrast. Veel (gevorderde) sportieve excursies mogelijk. Draag stevige wandelschoenen, de ondergrond bij het hiken is rotsachtig met veel los gesteente.

Neem voldoende cash mee!! Betalen gaat hier uitsluitend contant. ATM of bank is er niet beschikbaar. De mensen zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar het converseren in het Frans en Engels gaat hier iets minder makkelijk.

The breakfast was better than expected. As well as the bread-heavy offering (usual in Morocco), there were always eggs, salad, fruit, dried fruit and olives. If you are trekking, book guides at the hotel. You are likely to get a better deal than booking direct with a guide (strange but true). The tiling is beautiful (but be careful, it is slippery when wet). Beautiful thick curtains.

There was some mould in the shower. There were some interruptions in the hot water supply. The internet was off for a couple of hours on one evening. If you are here in the colder season, the heating may not be adequate to keep the room as warm as you might like.
