The property you can tell is well maintained with love and care. It’s very clean and well organized. The owner took the time to greet us and everyone from the host, the women who cooked, cleaned, and maintained the property - they were all so genuinely nice and kind.

The riad is absolutely beautiful, like something straight out of One Thousand and One Nights. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the main square, and easily accessible by taxi from the nearby plaza. The rooftop breakfast was wonderful, enjoyed with stunning views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and generously sized.

Breakfast was fine, but fried eggs were totally over cooked. Tea was a low quality tea dust tea bag, served with a cafetiere of hot water, not even a tea pot. Terrace was nice, if a bit tired Staff guy was pleasant, though English was extremely limited

What was significantly missing was the hospitality that Morocco is known for. We arranged a taxi from the train station. The welcome from the staff was literally non-existent. The guy who met us didn't even say hello. We we ushered in and shown to fill in some forms. Other staff walked by, no greetings. After 10 minutes waiting I was abruptly handed a phone, at the other end what sounded like a chatbot, reading a script, but it was apparently the owner Pierre (never to be seen). Honestly, it was the most impersonal, generic, insincere and quite baffling "welcome" though it was far from welcoming. A scripted blurb about how to get to the main square, the free juice flavours they were offering and not much else. For the remainder of our stay Pierre was absent, only available via whatsapp, and then not to very happy to help. When I enquired about a taxi to airport, I was directed to complete an online form, which didn't work on my phone - you couldn't see if the destination was the airport or train station. When I asked Pierre to clarify, I was given a diatribe of texts - my phone screen must be too small, 3500 other people have done it, and he asking where I needed to go when I was talking about flights - the train station or the airport? Too busy and uninterested to even read my message before replying. He then quickly deleted his sarcastic and rude texts, but I took screen shots. Really, quite an angry man.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay truly stood out. My experience at Riad Da Chacha was exceptional—far exceeding standard international hotels, especially as a solo female traveler. Arrival and departure Everything was seamlessly arranged. Despite landing before 7 a.m., Mr. Pierre organized a taxi pickup, and I was personally guided to the riad. I was welcomed with a fresh, tailored breakfast, followed by a thoughtful introduction to the neighborhood. After a relaxing hammam and massage next door, I ended the day with an outstanding tagine on the rooftop. Departure was just as smooth. During my stay Mr. Pierre and his team went above and beyond. Transportation in Marrakech can be unreliable, but he ensured I always had dependable options. When I encountered a last-minute issue with an important dinner reservation, he handled it with impressive resourcefulness and kindness. This level of personalized care is rare, even in top-tier hotels. The entire team was attentive and genuinely invested in making my stay special. We loved everything - from breakfast and dinner, to our room and the position of the Riad! The terrace was something else too! But the thing that wowed us the most is the kindness and hospitality of the staff in the Riad. Mohamed, Ilham, Ahmed and others went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. Thank you once again, we will certainly recommend Riad Dar Chacha to all our friends and family. :)

I absolutely loved my stay at Riad Da Chacha. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, peaceful and away from the busy main streets, yet easily accessible, with taxis stopping just a few meters away. The riad is beautiful, quiet, and chic, with exquisite details in every corner. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, the bed was super comfy, and the rooftop terrace, filled with lush plants, felt like a serene garden. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff made me feel truly welcome and at ease. I highly recommend it and would gladly stay again.
