Nice central location only 3 blocks from the beach and pier, close to many restaurants. We stayed in the air conditioned suite on the ground floor. It was a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good (coffee and fruit plate followed by a hot meal) served by the gracious chef. No mosquitos when we were there.

Across the street there is a new building under construction which can be noisy during the day but it didn't bother us really.

One of the most magical hotels I've ever stayed in. Absolutely strange and stunning. Every time I Have been to this town I have stopped by to photograph this amazing building so imagine My delight when I realized someone had turned it into a hotel. It's like being in a strange dream. Just wonderful.

This is not a complaint but an observation. Lots of steep and windy stairs. For some people that might be disconcerting. I say to heck with them! But still, seriously, it's nice to know.

I'm hesitant to give a glowing rating, as you don't want folks to figure this out! An amazing place, but I think either you love it or you don't. Staff is friendly, Armando provides breakfast poolside to get you going. It's a place where unique travelers gather and trade stories. Very different set up to your traditional hotel.

The only negative would be shower was always cold . If you're a light sleeper, there is lots of noise in the area as windows are netting only. Even the hike up spiralling stairs to the room was manageable!

Great staff, breakfast and location near centre.

A major building site opposite with continuous HGV traffic movements within feet of my bedroom door and bed from 9am-7pm. The cement and aggregate lorries have to reverse onto the site and in so doing, are driven right up to my bedroom door which is very noisy and is compounded by headights shining into the bedroom and the bleeping reversing lights.
