North Hideaway

The bed was uncomfortable. Everything was done on a shoestring budget. The shower had no screen and therefore allowed water to flood everywhere.

Lovely friendly owners. Denis went through with us how everything worked in the apartment and gave some great suggestions on where to eat locally. It's compact but has everything you need for a short stay. There are eateries and shops only a few minutes up the road and it's just an hour to Cape Reinga. It felt very safe and the car was parked directly outside the room. We found the bed a little uncomfortable, we rolled together during the night.

We loved staying here. It was seperate to the main house, we could park our car outside the door and it is very quiet. The lodge had just what we needed and lovely. We met the hosts who were both very lovely people and accomodating. Very clean and tidy. Mini fridge freezer. Great wifi. Great TV. Comfy bed. Modern bathroom. Thank you for your hospitality :-)

the windows at the pillow end of the bed were unsatisfactory as there was a light outside on a garage and when the blinds moved at all the light shone in , also the rail on the blind made a noise. The cooler was too noisy to sleep .
