Ironsands B&B

The place was tidy, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated the hosts fast and friendly communication. The beds were really comfortable. For the cost it was great value and included breakfast as well. Would definitely stay again if I was to travel to Taranaki again.

I had a small issue with the shower however, the host was quick to offer a solution and was very helpful.

Very good, quick and easy communication! On street parking is no issue and as it is in a cull-de-sac, there is no through traffic to worry about. Room is basic but clean! For breakfast there was yoghurt, milk and toast with jam, again basic but good to keep you going. It wasn't cold enough to light the fireplace and I don't know if there is wood available to do so, but there is a fireplace. Wifi was working good and easy to get access.

The single room is just that, a bed and a place to walk into, being 2m tall the bed was on the short size for me but still ok.

Very accomodating

Bathroom was nice, kitchen even though shared, well equipped, instructions were clear, check-in anytime.

The room needed a bit of fresh air. In order to reach private bathroom, you need to go through a bit of shared room.
