Kakariki Cottage

I had booked this place last year as a surprise gift to my partner, We loved it so much we just had to come back. 2nd Jan we made this place our first get away for the New Year and couldn't have asked for anything better.

Perfect little cottage which boasts all of what your after if your trying to get away from the reality of city life that's not far of a drive, then this is the place to go. Host had thought of it all, right down to a beautiful breakfast for us to enjoy the next day. We loved everything about this little diamond in the rough, We will be back for sure.

Kakariki Cottage is a gem! After a long flight, it was nice to arrived in such a quiet and a beautiful place. The cottage itself is cozy, and welcoming. Every detail has been thought of—everything you might need is provided, including a generous selection of breakfast essentials like eggs, bread, fruit, salt, pepper, oil, and even treats like cookies and chocolate. It’s clear the hosts take great care to ensure guests feel at home.

Nothing

Lovely peaceful cottage surrounded by nature. It had all we needed and and was very clean and homely. It was the perfect place to spend the last night of our trip to New Zealand. We would have loved to have stayed another night and if we fly into Auckland again we would happily book it again.

Nothing to dislike.

Such a cosy little cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location. Absolutely loved all the thoughtful little touches like fresh milk, bread, eggs and butter and cereals.

Not a thing!

Great secluded cabin, everything you need is provided including all you need for breakfast and to make decent coffee. Cozy and delightful, great place to unwind.

I'd have to be super nit-picky to think of anything.
