"Another lovely weekend at Peka Peka beach"

We enjoyed another lovely stay at Near the Shore. The hosts are so kind, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast choices that are supplied are delicous and an amazing variety. Near the Shore suits us perfectly when we want a wee weekend break at Peka Peka beach with friends. We highly recommend it and will book again. Thanks so much!

"A stunning location close to the beach"

Near the Shore is such a lovely location for a quiet weekend at the beach. It was perfect for us to stay with friends. The rooms are a good size and the breakfast supplied was delicious! We always feel so welcomed by the hosts and will definitely book again soon. Thanks so much for having us!

"Amazing stay"

The room is very nice, clean and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. Everything in the property is almost new. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. Highly recommend to stay there.

"Perfect studio in a quiet beach town"

This is a perfect little spot in a quiet beach town. Our only complaint is due to a very late ferry, we arrived rather too late to really enjoy it. Sandy was very accommodating with a late check-in, sending clear instructions on how to access the suite at night, and providing prompt communication. We arrived even later than expected at 1 am and we were so grateful to find such a cosy, clean suite. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet outside. We appreciated the breakfast items (croissants, yogurt, cereals, fruits, toast, coffee, tea, milk etc) and the shower was amazing. There are lots of nice touches (games and DVDs in the shelf, extra blankets, lovely shampoo) and there is a cute private patio to enjoy. Free easy parking right outside. And to top it off, it's a short walk to a spectacularly long sandy beach for a morning stroll!
