Near the shore

A beautiful little piece of paradise. This accommodation was exceptional. Many little extras, made it feel like a home away from home. Comfy , huge bed. Fantastic shower, just a really special place to stay.

The breakfast was great and provided for gluten free Also close to the beach with easy access to beach when walking

One of the best experiences we've had in a long time. We loved the accommodation itself (everything has been well thought out and catered for), we loved the location (a 3min walk to the beach or 4min drive to Waikanae), and we loved the hosts (who are very helpful and friendly). If it's a warm day it's lovely to sit on the deck and read a book in the sun, or if it's cooler it's relaxing to sit on the chairs inside. The kitchenette was very well stocked with utensils, plates, mugs, glasses and even small jars of breakfast cereals and salt, pepper etc. The fridge had a generous bottle of milk, toppings for toast, and a small pottle of yoghurt, and the freezer had two slices of bread and two croissants for breakfast. All the appliances were modern. The shower is very spacious and the hosts kindly supply lovely hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and even shaving cream. The hosts really go above and beyond what most hosts do.

It was a lovely place to stay, if your using the ferry as we were and getting to Wellington late afternoon you can be there in a hour. Out of the city and ready to head north next morning, after a walk along the beach. Would definately stay there again.
