Location One Eighty

The beach is a 3-minute walk at the back of the hotel. The beach is the least crowded in San Fernando. The water is calm, shallow and safe. The hotel owner, Tita Malou, and her son Jeff, are very accommodating, friendly and warm. The room is aesthetic with minimalist touch.

• Checking in & out are frictionless. We arrived 1 hr early and have been able to get into our room. It • Ambiance is easygoing & spacious - there’s a quaint garden to walk around on and a little patio area to sit around and take a break • Rooms are in tiptop shape, clean, and beach goer friendly with all the appropriate furniture for groups, small room for baggage, floating shelves & racks for storage, black out curtains for privacy, mesh to let air in and keep insects out, AC & Electric fan. Everything in the room feels intentional and purposeful. No space wasted. • Sleep & rest are cozy & comfortable. Beds are in the right firmness, pillows incredibly soft, and nostalgic floral printed blankets are a nice touch • Tita Malou & her dogs Luna, Starley & a third dog are delightful & accommodating. We felt safe, acknowledged, and well taken care of. • Extremely convenient for commuters. We rode the Maria De Leon bus & it’s only 600 meters from the property. Luxury of time to wait for our ride in the hotel comfortably instead of in the station is great.

I think we underestimated how far the property is from the beach proper (about 3 kilometers). This is more on first-time tourists and not knowing how LU is quite car-centric and public transpo, esp trikes can charge exorbitant prices if not settled prior. We figured out the jeep routes & stops though so Location 180 is till very much within proximity.

Perfect overnight accommodation at a great price - brand new rooms added to the rear of a family house. Room interior was fairly sparse, but spotless, new and clean, good sized private bathroom, aircon works well. There's a walkway/balcony and outside small table/chairs. They have fair amount of parking on street or on property. There is a small garden area outside with larger table. The family own and run it, and are very friendly and helpful. It is located on the main street in Bancusay, just after the Carlatan bridge, but the rooms are at the rear and we didn't hear any noise (even without aircon running). A pizza and other restos walk or short drive away, incl fast food. Location is 5 minutes drive from the surfing beaches at San Juan. We parked at the large pay parking field just after the first strip of shops etc, safe and 150php all day to 1am There is also a path from the rear of the property to the local beach - it is on the river estuary, but it's tidal - it's clean and swimmable if you want flat water, no waves for small kids, etc. There is a small bar/resto there, they serve beers and simple food. Great sunsets from can be viewed from there at around 5:30.

Nothing. It fit the bill for reasonably priced overnight.
