R & D Island Lodge

Location is great, walkng distance to the beach, ATMs, and lots of testaurants. Staff is accommodating, they arranged our land tour & island hopping.

Photo in the listing is misleading, the building is very old and beaten. Unclean sorroundings, bathroom is too old and dirty. The room is bare, with old bed, plastic cabinet, a table w/chairs and an old blurry mirror. It's not value for money, for an old room, it should be cheaper.

It is not clean the aircon is not giving the right amount of cooling

One of the things that I like is it’s just near all the establishment and a few walks away from the beach.

The bed and pillow stinks like a feet!!! They didn’t wash the pillowcases ughhhh and probably the bedsheets and blanket as well! I’m not usually sensitive with how the room looks as long as it’s clean then it’s okay but damn! I don’t even care if it’s noisy because I can still sleep through it, but the pillowcase really stinks!! I had to spray alcohol on it but still it wouldn’t go away, just thank god I have a beach towel I used it as a cover and since I only stayed for a night andsuper tired so I don’t have the time to complain about it. Also the bathroom is kinda dirty and there’s no tissue. You also have to ask for the trashbin. I rarely leave a comment or a bad rating but they should be aware and make an improvement on cleanliness.

Accessibility to beaches, church, market, ATM, food parks, etc. The place is really simple and basic, nothing fancy and affordable.

Our stay was good overall, but there's no proper area to hang our wet clothes, except for the railings at the 2nd floor in front of our room / door.
