The property is walking distance from the Ceres bus terminal and from the pier to Isla de Gigantes. The staff and owner were very pleasant and helpful. At our request they prepared dinner for us our second night. Dinner was very good and at a very reasonably price. The room we stayed at was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the aircon worked good. It has a nice balcony and the property has a lot of plants and grown trees. For the price, it is an acceptable place to spend a night or two while visiting Isla de Gigantes.

The property in general needs a lot of maintenance and repairs. The toilet in our room did not flush and was missing the toilet seat. The bathroom sink drained very slowly and the faucet was stripped. The shower worked but not very well. There was a big water container in the shower with a tabo which we used to shower instead of dealing with the shower.

The staff are nice. Closed to Bancal Pier.

Needs some minor maintenance.

Booked last minute and since the standard room wasn't prepared we were offered an upgraded room.

Toilet.

I loved how quiet and tranquil the place was, it was the perfect escape. The host was incredibly helpful and arranged my trip to Gigantes Island, which was incredible!

Chateau De Aow was the perfect place to go Gigantes Island hopping as it’s only a few minutes walk to Bancal launch port. Likewise, Ceres bus terminal station to Iloilo City only is just a 5-minute walk. Ate Vema, the owner, and the 2 staff, Rimel & Baney were all really nice & accommodating. The grounds are beautifully surrounded by greenery. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. A/C was very good.

The bathroom’s hardwares could use some fixing, but manageable. Water isn’t potable for brushing. Town proper is a 2-ride or tricycle all the way. No culinary options but 7-11 in town or in bc Estancia, a 45-minute Jeepney ride and limited time with last ride back to town at 5 pm.
