From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a smile and such an inviting and comfortable energy. Uchith and his wife go above and beyond for their guests, making them feel like they are at home, which is nice for long-term travellers. - The room was clean, very spacious with a large bed, nice sheets and a mosquito net. The hot water was also a real plus as well as the AC. - Outside Communal area was very tranquil- surrounded by trees and different forms of seating, which we loved - Highly recommend having dinner and breakfast with them, the food is delicious and a real taste of Sri Lanka! We also learnt so much about the cuisine from the hosts. - The hosts themselves were so lovely and were happy to have a conversation with you, which we loved. Their attention to detail is truly appreciated, even something like a welcome drink on arrival after a sweaty journey. Communication via whatsapp was prompt! - Added bonus they have 2 of the most gorgeous dogs who we enjoyed spending some time with whilst we were relaxing Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a tranquil escape at a reasonable price, was truly one of our favourite stays during our month in Sri Lanka.

If you don't have transport it can be a little hard to get around but you have everything you need at the accomodation and the host can organise everything for you from food to safaris to even tours around the town.

We had an incredible stay at Yala Leisure Villa. We were a family of 6, and we had a very comfortable, easy, and enjoyable stay. The rooms were absolutely perfect!!!! Everything was incredibly clean and the outside areas were very beautifully set out. The villa is run by an amazing family, who were extremely helpful throughout our stay. They also provided a huge breakfast meal! We were very impressed and well prepared for our journey ahead. The family offers incredible Yala safari tours and other tours. We would highly recommend!!!! 😄

Service ,Food,Climate,Location,Attitude of the host An ideal place for peace and relaxation The best place on the island. An ideal option for a couple away from everyone and from the hustle and bustle and also an ideal option for a single person.I saw a large number of birds in the morning,I was going out for a morning walk & a peacock was running. In the evening we went on a safari in Yala wild life park to enjoy the wild life in sri lanka & we were able to see the Leopards.This safari park is 30 mins from this property and the host can arrange it upon request.

We booked this hotel because it was in the area we needed and it was very reasonably priced. Those expectations were met. The room was large and very comfortable, bathroom was a good size and very clean. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly, efficient and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Leisure Villa-Yala! owner and his family were incredibly welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect. From delightful meals to bird-watching tours, the location near Yala National Park for safaris and he arranged the safari for us,It was an amazing experience,we saw many animals especially a leopard,elephants,crocodiles,deers Impeccable and spacious rooms with AC, very good and comfortable bed to a delicious breakfast and Dinner– everything exceeded expectations.The building is surrounded by lots of trees. The host was very kind and friendly. We got to eat home made food. Dont miss to order their meals because they were very delicious.This is one of the best place I have ever stayed. The price is reasonable and the rooms are spot clean. The host made sure we are well taken care of. This is absolutely great value for money.
