Mayan Bungalow Near Chichén

Host is very friendly and gives good recommendations for the area, we felt very well taken care of. Breakfast is amazing and the best we had in Mexico, and it starts at 7am so you will get to the ruins in time. It is cool to sleep in a Mayan hut, and on the morning you are in 10 minutes (by car) at the ruins.

It is in a small town/rural area in the jungle, so the whole night you hear different animals (mostly dogs and chicken) - but the room comes with ear plugs! You have to walk outside to get to the bathroom (private) in the night that may be scary.

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful

The best thing about this place is the owner Luis. He’s so helpful and nice. He goes out of his way to help you. Gave us a lift to Chichen Itza and picked us up from bus stop. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. Excellent stay

Very nice host - we would have loved to stay longer. Breakfast was amazing!

The owners were very welcoming and shared a lot of useful info about chichen Itzá. There was a rain storm the night we were there causing a power cut in the village and they came over to provide candles and make sure everything was ok. The place is only 5 mins drive from Chichén itza and the owners provide a great breakfast to get you fired up for exploring.

Luis is a very nice host, he welcomes you with juice, and tells a lot about what there is to see in the environment. We had a lovely breakfast, nice animals around. Notice that you're in the jungle, for us an experience.

I didn't know that our room didn't have a bathroom in the bungalow, we had to go outside for toilet and shower.

Luis is an exceptional host and his property is amazing. He was super communicative before and during our stay, and was there to greet us when we arrived. The bungalow is located in the jungle, surrounded by beautiful trees, plants and birds. There isn't a better location if you want to be in close proximity of Chichén Itzá! The bungalow was stocked with everything we needed upon arrival. Luis is an incredibly generous and thoughtful host: he offered my partner and I fresh squeezed juice upon our arrival, and tea before bed. He was super accommodating to diet restrictions (1 of us is vegetarian), and in the morning he had a delicious breakfast spread waiting for us. (He even sent us on our way with leftovers!!) Luis is super knowledgeable about the area, and he provided us with so much helpful guidance about getting to the nearby attractions. We loved our visit so much and highly recommend staying here.
