Granny Stringer’s Cottage

This place is a gem of tranquility and combines the features of a lovingly restored old cottage with modern conveniences. Gordon went out of his way to accommodate our every need. They even had Easter eggs for us!!

Beautiful clean cottage.

The reception was like taking a cold shower.

Great location, close enough to the lovely township of Roxburgh but quiet & peaceful. Friendly & helpful hosts. Comfy beds.

Quiet country location nor far from Roxburgh. Spacious and comfortable.

The location was very close to the cycle trails, which is why we chose Granny Stringers Cottage. We appreciated being allowed to arrive early due to inclement weather. Loved the peaceful setting.

The cottage was cozy and quaint and part of the history of the area. Very private and clean with a fun quirk of the kitchen being in another building. The bathroom was modern and the Wi-Fi was fast. Communication with the owners was good and they checked on us to make sure all was to our liking. close to biking and town.

Everything was fine.

Superb quality upgrade to an historic Cobb cottage. Very welcoming. Loved the animal's, Betty the black lab the cat and the chickens.

The wireless signal was a bit inconsistent - affected the liveTV signal.
