It’s other worldly - magical. It’s like a fairy tale journey into a past time.

The turnoff into the property is on a motorway and it feels a little like you could easily miss it.

Friendly staff, good location right across from the beach. Super buffet breakfast, included. Room nice and big, and very clean. Short walk to "downtown", nearby food and drinks etc.

Pool was either not open or not usable - it had leaves everywhere in it and, as is normal in NZ, was not heated.

It was definitely a lovely place to stay with its old world charm. Nice and cosy room with high ceiling. Warm and inviting. Exceptionally clean.
