O Quintal Guesthouse

Amazing location, 2 minutes from the beach, 30 seconds from shops / bars / restaurants. Carla & her daughter were super friendly and welcoming. My visit was at the end of the summer period so the property was quiet which was great. Rooms very basic & comfortable. Bathrooms excellent. Full kitchen facilities are available if required.

One small downside is that I had a late evening flight but could only leave my luggage until 1pm. There is nowhere else in Carvoeiro to store luggage so bear this in mind if you have a late flight.

Shower cubicle a little bit tight

Fabulous location, walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. Excellent kitchen with modern amenities for cooking. A lovely courtyard and plunge pool to relax. Small, clean room, with fabulous shower.

This is a quest house. Not a hotel. The room is small for two people It was very quiet and clean. Especially considering it is in the center of the town. The external Bathroom was actually very convenient. The location was good for us as we love just walking around exploring

Room was a bit small. No space for a chair or table. Only outside seating if you choose to bring back take out food. No table in kitchen area. However that was also a plus as our room was off the kitchen

CLOSE TO BEACH AIRON WAS GREAT

The location was great, just a couple minutes walk from the beach. Carla and her daughter were lovely and welcoming. The room was cleaned to a very high standard and done so daily. The shower was also lovely. The small rooftop pool with jet was very nice and was a lovely place to sit in the evening with the fairy lights on. There was cooking facilities, which we didn't use, but it was very helpful to store things in the freezer (water bottles) and also have use of the washing line for our bathing suits/towels after a long day at the beach! Having a full-length mirror was very appreciated, as well as space to hang our clothes, as well as having a small TV which was a nice touch too.

Our room was next to another room's bathroom, which we could hear from time to time during the night, but this room was locked and it wasn't a huge issue. However, we were also the final room between the two spaces, so we could hear people entering/exiting early in the morning. Another small thing was that the bed wasn't fully comfortable to our liking (although it looked lovely!), but others may not have an issue with it - we prefer a firmer bed.

Great location. Swimming pool and hammock to chill

Great staff and comfortable stay at a great location close to the central square of Carvoeiro where many restaurants and boat cave tours are available. The coastal clifftop trail from praia do carvoeiro to praia da marinha via Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos makes an awesome day hike!
