O Quintal Guesthouse

The location is quite good. Very central and just a few minutes walk to the beach and the boardwalk. The room was clean and comfortable.

The lock in the toilet was not working well.

We felt welcomed and the staff were very nice and gave us recommendations on places to go. The location was fantastic and we had a wonderful time. We definitely appreciated fresh towels every day.

Beautiful clean accommodation in great location a few minutes from the beach with fabulous caring hosts. Having hurt my hand kayaking, my hosts could not do enough to help which was very much appreciated as a solo traveller. Kitchen to use was an added bonus. I didnt have time to use the pool but it did look inviting but did have a great massage from Ligia.

Great location, loved the tiny pool in the courtyard. Close to good restaurants and bakery. Very clean and artistic decorating, friendly hosts, nice to have refrigerator in the room. Hosts offer laundry service.

Had to park far away from the guesthouse WiFi never worked correctly in our room even after hosts attempted to fix

Kitchen needs a toaster. Lots of stairs getting up to rooms.

My room was great, the staff amazing and the guesthouse in a great location. Very close to the beach which is what I was looking for. I found the price very reasonable. The guesthouse has a shared kitchen and sitting room. I also enjoyed a message while I was staying there which was amazing.

I was staying for over a week and although my towels were changed regularly and my bed made daily I would have preferred my bedding changed more and my room swept more

Excellent location, amenities and hosts. The full apartment was clean comfortable, spacious, and had good amenities. Our hosts were personable, helpful and warm. The location is just a few blocks from restaurants, groceries and Carvoeiro beach. The furnishings were homey and comfortable. It's not really a negative, but is worth noting that the unit we stayed in was on the second floor, up flight of stairs.

Quaint and comfortable stay albeit a bit of an eccentric layout and decor. A mother/daughter team run the guesthouse and are very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect and street parking was easy. The communal pool area was a nice to hangout in.

The shower was tiny and the ceilings are low, so it is a bit claustrophobic. The room was also quite small and walls were thin.
