Dalkieith Boutique Bed and Breakfast is absolutely unique. The house has been so sympathetically restored and furnished you feel every part of being in a unique historic setting. Entering through beautiful gardens you really feel you have been transported to somewhere very special. We arrived 2 up on a motorbike and our host could not have been more helpful about ensuring we were happy with security etc. and we were very well looked after. The arrangements for breakfast were excellent and worked well with all our travel plans.

Simple but adequate breakfast. Loved the setting both indoors and out …quiet.

The proportion of bathroom to bedroom size..but there is no perfection in houses!
