"Wonderful stay at authentic Christchurch area B&B"

Wonderfully restored period home. High quality detailed finishes throughout. Lovely host Julie friendly and helpful. Bus stop closeby if you need it (we had a car). Everything works well including the TV and remote. Nice continental breakfast. Super clean and well maintained. Highly recommend. Ideal for couples and single leisure travelers.

"I would gladly recommend Dalkeith Bed and Breakfast."

Very quaintly decorated with an excellent host. Julie turned the electric blankets on for us and had the heater in our room going. Continental breakfast was excellent according to the menu we chose. Best bathroom towels I have ever used. Great ensuite and shower. Nice gardens and dining facilities.

Beautiful old period house decorated accordingly. Lovely warm bedroom with modern en suite. Glorious dining room with a great continental breakfast provided.

Lovely home and hostess

Overpriced, very basic breakfast. To warrant the amount other stays had a welcome drink , the rooms were preheated and breakfast would have been cooked and at the least fresh bread and bakery and homemade (ok if purchased) jams.
