La Maracuya Panama

Nature is fantastic and the position on a hill is gorgeous.

Difficult and dangerous access to our apartment on a winding trail. Each night power black out and last day even water off. Most of times no Internet. Bad smell in the WC. Internal tub with no safety tools. Air Conditioning out of service. Very poor breakfast.

Good location for me

Accepted cash only and I wasn’t prepared for that. There was no notice given.

the view, the peaceful environment.. it is very near by the city.. i love it

well, there was an scorpion in our bathroom.. but we managed the situation, and no one got harm

staff does’t speak English as advertised. also demanded we pay in cash and not by credit card food served is below average

spectacular views, very comfortable, modern large soaker tub and outdoor shower nice private terrace. very quiet and the staff which are the owners are lovely. would definitely stay again.

We booked a stay and were driving all the way from Bocas del Torro at the day of check-in. Thats around 8 hours. Long drives are sometimes hard to predict so we had a delay, i told the Manager that we will arrive between 10pm and 11pm, she said it is okay and gave us a number of a person that will be responsible for Check in. 1 hour prior to arriving i wrote again to confirm that we are nearly there and if everything is still alright. As we arrived we had nobody there checkin us in, the place looked abandoned. It was 11pm and we were very tired from the drive, we had to improvise and drive all the way to panama city for a possibility of 24h checkin when booking so spontanious. We are very disappointed and would not ever recommend, we were left by ourselfs in the middle of the night. Truly one of the worst expirience in Panama.
