Reben Haus

We only stayed one night to rest in between, moving from Budapest to Chisinau. The place is like a roadside motel with a personal touch. It's cheap, it's practical, it may be cold in winter, it may be much nicer in summer due to terrace - but the host is a great guy. He cared if we are comfy, brought us some hot water early morning and seemed like a nice person.

It's a room with a bed basically. May have some problem with heating, but most likely we were tired and it's us. May be best to decorate at least a little - seems too grim.

Really great position, near the city center in walking distance. The room comfortable and warm. The owner is ready to help you and can give you great suggestions

Very hospitable and attentive host. Wonderful communication. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. Bath and toilet are not comfortable. But for this price everything is great!

Small bathroom and shower room. Might be great for the price. A little uncomfortable to take a shower.

Lovely host, who due to the time we arrived late in the evening offered to pick us up from the airport and show us to the property. We didn’t have cash on us so he kindly let us stop at a a specific bank so we didn’t have to pay foreign transaction fees. He was very friendly and exchanged a lot of interesting facts about himself and his city, which added a nice touch to our first time in Sibiu and Romania as a whole! The accomodation was simple as expected, but more than adequate for a good night’s sleep close enough to the centre of the city. He even offered for us to join him for coffee in the morning, which was very kind! His response times were very good, and he made sure we knew he was on hand if ever we needed him during our stay. Thank you for having us.

It would’ve been lovely to have a towel or two provided in the bathroom (even a small hand towel), but there’s of course no expectation of the host to provide these, especially with how cheap the place was. It was my bad for assuming there would be, as I’d normally have brought my own if I knew. Otherwise, everything else was great!
