Villa Genny

Alfonso was a spectacular host. The view of the countryside from my balcony was movie like. Villa Genny exceeded all my expectations. I definitely enjoyed my stay.

Our stopover in Candela on our way to Puglia turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The night we spent there was truly unforgettable. The villa exuded authenticity, with its charmingly aged structure, high ceilings, and tasteful furnishings. The host's evident pride in the property was palpable, and any minor imperfections were easily overlooked in light of the incredible ambiance. Despite its small size, the town itself offered a delightful surprise in the form of a single restaurant, which served delicious meals at very reasonable prices. Our one-night stay provided a perfect immersion into the Italian way of life.

Beautiful 18th century Villa, Alfonso was the best host and the place was spotlessly clean.

Everything was good.

Alfonso was very friendly, attentive and helpfully! He checked for us wether restaurant were open and even drove us to one when the nearby ones were closed. The villa is beautiful and has a nice old atmosphere in it.

Villa Genny is an excellent stay! Located near all the best attractions and restaurants of candella, available parking, and incredible rooms! Alfonso was an amazing host. Greatly recommend for English speaking travelers to stay here and experience the beauty of candella!

The drive up the mountain is scary on google maps. Stay to the main route. Villa Genny was great though!
