A bit hard to find at night…

Great location close to the center of town. The staff were friendly and kind. They did not accept credit card payment and were very understanding by giving us time to withdraw from an atm in town. They also provided restaurant recommendations. The facilities were well preserved and historic. Great view from the balcony.

The breakfast was all pre packed sweets that you find in the candy isle of the grocery store. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast which was inconvenient because we had make time to the airport. Our room had a bathtub with an extendible shower nozzle but there was not a wall mounted holder or a curtain so you had to hold the nozzle with one hand and take care to not spray water in the room while washing with the other hand. The WiFi was almost non existent and you had to be close to the router to get a slight signal.

Central location in a lovely historic town. Just off the main street with restaurants and cafes. Beautiful views from the accommodation. Beautiful ceilings and original decor. Attentive staff who welcomed us with a cafe.

Plenty of breakfast items, but all pre-packaged. Personally, I'd have sooner have had a fresh Cornetto and from the local bakery down the street with a coffee.

lovely building in a quiet little town. walking distance to the piazza & restaurants. parking is free outside but there is also a locked area for parking that is €10. the hosts were very welcoming & helpful. our room was big with a king sized bed, mattress was firm but comfortable, drawers, hangers & a couch. breakfast was ok, coffee was freshly made & v good. yoghurt, pastries etc. bathroom is roomy, the shower is small but that is typically European. our room had a small balcony looking towards the East with a stunning view over the rooftops to the country side. the building is lovely - marble stairs, frescoes on the ceiling & beautiful Italian tiled floors. this village is delightful. so peaceful & charming. lovely old buildings. church bells ringing. friendly people. we enjoyed our overnight stay & would come back.

Villa Genny was the perfect stay on my trip from Rome down to Puglia. The town of Candela is quite quaint and the villa itself is so well preserved and beautiful. Pasquale and his brother, Giuseppe were so inviting and even helped me return my particular power adaptor I left - saved me a 4 hour drive! For value for money, you can't beat this villa. Very comfy accommodations and onsite parking. I'll definitely return on my way back to Rome.
