Heavens Seven

An incredibly kind and helpful owner. He explained how to get around and helped us arrange a tuk-tuk — a wonderful person. On top of that, there was an amazing view from the room, plus a nice balcony where we could spend time. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfasts were very good and filling. They also have a fantastic dog.

The room is a bit cramped and it’s hard to find space to unpack suitcases, but I know the owners are working on expanding the rooms, so it will be really fantastic then!

Die Familie ist super super lieb, mega hilfsbereit. Soe haben uns genau auf der Karte gezeigt wo was ist, was wir sehen sollten. Immer sofort Hilfe angeboten- das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker- lokal und auch genug. Die Lage ist außerhalb der City aber man ist in 15 min (über die Gleise) easy in der Stadt. Die Gleise sind 2 min entfernt also quasi direkt daneben. Und wir sind zu 80% immer über die Gleise zu allen Sachen gegangen- also gute Lage. Also all in all hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt. :)

Ein ganz kleiner Minus Punkt ist vielleicht das WLAN. Wir hatten nicht immer stabiles Internet, aber ist vielleicht auch mal nicht schlecht. Hahaha

Nette Gastgeberfamilie, schöner Ausblick vom Bett aus, es gibt warmes Wasser, was in Sri Lanka nicht selbstverständlich ist und es gibt ein Moskitonetz, was uns sehr wichtig war. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und die Frühstückszeiten können mit dem Gastgeber flexibel abgestimmt werden. Wanderwege und die Stadt sind über die Gleise gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns auf dem Balkon den Sonnenaufgang angeschaut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.

A very peaceful place with a spectacular view, wonderful hospitality, and an amazing breakfast. My hosts were welcoming and assisted me with everything I needed (including a rather unusual request to charge my electric tuk-tuk). I really appreciated the hand-painted map to Ella Rock and other attractions; it felt like I was on an adventure with a treasure map. I only wish I could have stayed longer, and I hope I get the chance to enjoy this beautiful place again in the future.

Великолепный вид Номер хороший и чистый Очень доброжелательный хозяин гостиничного дом. Просто потрясающий. Рядом с отелем железная дорога, по которой удобно и быстро дойти в город. Ещё у хозяев живёт потрясающая собака. Очень дружелюбная и милая

Great breakfast, kind host family and beautiful sunrise views from the room

There is a newer building in front of the stay which ruins the otherwise beautiful view a bit - but this is of course nothing the hosts could do anything about
