Siriwal Guesthouse

Cozy house near the temples cared by two sweet ladies and pretty cute baby. Nice atrium and wooden terrace to drink the morning coffe, which is for free.

Everything run perfect but the nights were an unpleasant surprise. Next doors to the guesthouse lives a drug addicted person who screams half the nights. We didn't sleep much well although the owner of the house called the police second night while we reported we feel frightened (after that things went quiet). We were served an opulent breakfast for free, probably as an act of an apologize. We feel really sorry for the hosts for such an uncaused problem in their business.

Close to some of the temples and at the same time far enough not to hear noise. Nice patio

Internet was not always working and AC in room number 4 did not work. It was boiling hot inside

The room is big and clean, you can feel the spring underneath but not to the extent that you can’t sleep. Value wise is good

The room between reception and bike storage isn’t soundproofed. You can hear people walking upstairs and doing stuff on ground floor. The host is nice but doesn’t speak English and even has no idea where to take the bus to other cities is a bit weird. I rented a bike, had a laundry service and asked for shampoo because there were only 2 single used ones but I stayed 3 nights. And she gave change all in 1 baht, which was very impolite in Thailand

The room was very basic and the bathroom outside the room. Fortunately, there is a nice place to sit with some free tea or coffee. The owners are okay but they dont speak a word English. The beautiful ruines however are around the corner.
